Salt bath cleansing for energetic clearing is a time honored tradition in all types of Energy Work. After every Reiki session (due to the electrical nature of the work) hydrotherapy is always indicated, inside & out.
This means drinking lots of water to stay well hydrated, as well as, soaking in a Salt bath afterwards or at least doing a foot soak.
Since Salt conducts electricity, the electrical discharge will further release through osmosis in the salt water, clearing away any last bits of energetic residue stirred up in the field and released at the cellular level by the Reiki Treatment .
Being well hydrated before, during, & after a Reiki session, as well as being diligent about taking a Salt bath (or foot soak) afterwards, will go a long way in helping to mitigate any unnecessary detox symptoms which may occur from the treatments!
In addition to the clearing properties of the salt, the unwinding time spent in the tub will help integrate the deep layers of work done on the body & mind during the sessions.
